Thermaplastic Marking
Thermoplastic markings are an easy, cost-efficient protection and traffic management solution for high-traffic areas and difficult climates.
It's high tolerance to heat, rough conditions, oil and grease offers outstanding protection from cracking during severe temperature changes and increases the application's lifetime.
Thermoplastic content consists of pigments, binders, and glass beads which are heated to 400 degrees and applied to create a strong, longer-lasting substance with visibility at night. Such longevity plus superior thermoplastic reflectivity allows for a good investment.

APB Pavement Marking carries a large variety of signage in stock. New signs can minimize insurance cost, enforce safety in your parking lot, and are more inviting to the public. We can also order specialty signs as needed. DOT signs, Regulatory signs and ADA signs are installed to current specifications. We also re-evaluate current signage and give advice on corrections & upgrades.
Seal Coating
APB Pavement Marking provides sealcoating, which is low-cost periodic maintenance and helps preserve the essential oils and hydrocarbon binders that keep it together. Sealcoating will increase your pavement existence while keeping damaging contaminants out, saving you a large sum of money in the long term.
It also provides a slate black finish for your asphalt which gives a fresh, "new-look" look to your home or company.
A quality sealcoat product can be applied 30-60 days after new asphalt is installed (or anytime thereafter).
It provides a "skin" of protection and helps your asphalt retain the oils and binders that hold it together. This helps prevent brittle asphalt, loss of color, alligator areas, potholes and other cracks from forming due to vehicles rolling over improperly supported asphalt, degradation from the sun’s UV rays, gas/oil drips, heavy vehicles and weathering. An unsealed crack allows water to run down under the pavement and erode the aggregates of the asphalt.
We use a crack filler application to avoid water intrusion and other destructive elements. APB Pavement Marking will be happy to assist you in determining the application method for any project you bring our way.

A.D.A. Compliance
Maintaining disabled or handicap parking helps avoid lawsuits and ensures the safety of those utilizing the lot. However, constant changes in A.D.A. parking codes sometimes create difficulty for property owners or managers to know which requirements are needed to bring their disabled parking and accessibility in compliance. APB Pavement Marking is constantly updating it's codes to ensure compliance with Virginia & Maryland's A.D.A. Requirements.
Curb Painting

Curb painting helps define the parking lot perimeter and enforces designated parking and non-parking areas. Yellow is used to specify loading zones, visitor, no parking, and fire lane areas as blue is usually used to mark disabled parking.
